Data Mask and Seed Is Now a Core App

Data Mask and Seed reaches v3.0 and becomes a core app rather than a separately installed managed package. The refreshed UI makes it faster to mask sensitive production data and to populate sandboxes with realistic, mock data for testing.

How

Use the new UI to configure masking rules that scramble sensitive production data, then seed sandboxes with realistic mock data to test specific use cases. Complete DLO-to-DLO seeding for Data 360 is also supported, so you can move data object records between environments.

Why

Previously this required installing and maintaining a managed package. As a core app with an easier UI, it removes setup friction and speeds up the build-test cycle while keeping sensitive data protected in lower environments.
