Flow Tags, the feature that let you classify flows with tags and tag categories, will not ship in Winter '27. Salesforce removed it from the release notes during the week of September 14, 2026.
Where
The change is listed in the Winter '27 release notes changes log. The tag selection in the Flow Builder save dialog and the tag browsing in the Automation app, both visible in preview orgs, are gone.
How
Salesforce gave a one line explanation: the feature is not quite ready yet, so it was removed for now. There is no replacement and no announced return date. Until it comes back, keep organizing flows with naming conventions and descriptions, and use the new unused elements filter for cleanup.
Why
If you planned a flow taxonomy around tags for Winter '27, put it on hold. Preview features can change or disappear before general availability, so check the release notes changes log before you build a process on a feature you saw in a preview org.
