Control Max Batch Size in Schedule-Triggered Flows

Schedule-Triggered Flows process records in batches. Until now the batch size was fixed at 200. Summer '26 lets you set a lower ceiling—trading more total runs for smaller, safer batches.

How

Set the Max Batch Size field to any value lower than the default 200. The flow will process records in groups no larger than your configured size.

Why

Smaller batch sizes reduce the risk of hitting Apex governor limits when each record triggers complex automations. It increases the number of runs but improves reliability—especially for flows that call external services or run heavy Apex logic per record.
