Shared list views were admin-only to edit. Summer '26 changes that with a new org-wide setting that unlocks editing for users who have the "Create and Customize List Views" permission.

How
Enable the "Allow editing of shared list views" toggle in Setup. Users also need the "Create and Customize List Views" permission. Once enabled, they can edit shared views just like their private ones.
Why
Teams that manage their own list views had to go through admins for every shared view update. This removes that bottleneck for orgs where users have the appropriate permission level.
