Reports Now Support Two Row-Level Formulas

Row-level formulas let you calculate values directly in a report without adding formula fields to your data model. Until now, each report was limited to a single row-level formula. With Summer '26, that limit doubles.

Where

Report Builder. Open any report, click the arrow next to the Columns section, and select Add Row-Level Formula. You can now add a second one to the same report.

How

Each formula is defined the same way as before: choose an output type, write the formula using row-level fields, and the calculated column appears in the report run. Both formulas can be used independently, so you could, for example, calculate a commission amount in one column and days-to-close in another within the same opportunity report.

Why

One formula per report often forced admins to create permanent formula fields on the object just to answer a second question. That clutters the data model and consumes field limits. Two row-level formulas keep quick calculations where they belong: inside the report.
